What area do you cover?

We are used to travelling. In fact, we love to travel. We regularly cover events all over the country and to be honest no distance is too great. Because we are based in South Lincolnshire, our natural catchment area is from Leicestershire down through Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and London but we can cover anywhere in the UK with ease. We can even go worldwide with a bit of extra planning.

What camera equipment do you use?

Without getting too techy – although we can do that too if you want lots more detail. Photographers love nothing more than to go on and on about cameras but just so you don’t nod off, here’s a condensed run down. We both carry a pair of Pro level full frame cameras throughout your wedding day. So that’s two cameras each, four total. We also bring an extensive range of lenses, battery packs and lighting equipment. This let’s us work around everything that the wedding day will present and on a more practical note, deal with the weather. We can shoot in anything from the brightest sunshine, to the most overcast of days.

Do you have any backups, in case anything goes wrong?

All our cameras record every image to two high speed memory cards at the same time. This means that in the extremely rare occasion that a memory card failed, we still have a copy of the shot, safe and sound. We know a lot of what happens on a wedding day is spontaneous and probably completely unrepeatable so we take no chances. After the wedding day has finished and we have presented you with your final edited copies on a USB stick or download link, we would highly recommend you make a backup copy yourself and keep it safe. We will endeavour to keep your content on file for approximately 3 months after the event but we cannot hold your files indefinitely.

Do you have insurance?

Yes are fully insured and we have public liability cover.

Can I get extra prints and a wedding album?

The concept of a standard wedding album has fallen out of favour in recent years. That’s not to say they are bad. Some people still enjoy receiving something that captures the entire wedding day experience on a printed page. That’s fine with us but most people don’t view wedding photography like they used to. This is why we offer something a little bit more special. With so many options available for types of print materials and albums we would love to sit down with you and tailor a package just for you. We offer large format and super large format printing, leather bound and wooden embossed albums.

How will we receive our wedding photographs?

Initially you will have access to a low res, watermarked gallery online. This will be private and passworded so if you can choose to share the password with friends and family they can have access too. Once final payment has been made you will receive your photographs in high resolution either via memory sticks or a download link from our secure servers.

How quickly will you receive our photographs?

We appreciate the once the wedding day is over you’re going to want to see your pictures as soon as possible. That’s why we always aim to finish our final project edits in a maximum of 4 weeks. We also know that you might want to tease a few onto Instagram well before that kind of timescale so we will always endeavour to get you a few rush edits the week after the wedding day. Everybody likes to show off just a little bit after all.

How would you describe your wedding photography style?

We both have accomplished backgrounds in event editorial and lifestyle photography. We love to capture those candid moments, all the the spirit and emotion of your wedding day. However, we are always open to new ideas or suggestions and more than happy to discuss your your suggestions.

If you’re interested in having a conversation how do we connect?

Telephone or email is fast and easy but whenever possible we prefer to meet with our clients face to face.

Will there be just one photographer?

For a full wedding day we always shoot as a two photographer team. We don’t want to miss a moment of your day. The absolute simplest problem that working like this solves is that one of us can’t be in two places at once. There will be scenarios that require us to set up lighting in very limited time constraints too. This might be because the wedding planning has gone a bit off schedule, you’d like to try something spontaneous or even plain old British weather means we have to move fast.  With two of us there, we can make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Do you retouch and edit the photographs?

Absolutely. Everybody looks better with a little bit of Photoshop after all. We use industry leading software, Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, to make sure that your photographs are as good as they can be. As a rule, we try to limit retouching to subtle improvements to make sure that your wedding photographs are as good as they can be but keep everyone looking natural. More involved retouching or editing options for large format printing are also available.
